. . . . empowering Thai Pastors and Thai Churches!
AUTUMN 2019 UPDATE
p01
Greetings from Thailand with John 4:34-35, "My food, said Jesus, is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Don't you have a saying, "It's still four months until harvest? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest."
In this season of thanksgiving, our hearts are full of gratitude for the way God has been blessing the ministries of Vision Thailand, in spite of the many challenges we face. Instead of focusing on what we don't have, we choose to give thanks to God for supplying all our needs. Thank you for your faithful partnership in enabling us to reach Thai people for Jesus Christ! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Daniel Khamsaen, Chairman, Vision Thailand Ministries
Summer 2019 has been a beehive of activity as we work to complete the new Vision Thailand Mission Center in Bangkok. Actually, we won't be able to fully complete the project at this time but will make it functional to house our offices, a Worship Center, Leadership Development and Training Center, and roughed in dorms for the students to stay when they come to study.
Here's an idea of what is being taught in our Church Planting School.
First Year Students: Bible Study Method; New Testament Exploration Course; Principles of Interpretation, Study of Romans and a Church Planting Course.
Second Year Students: Leadership Life and Prayer; Principles of Preaching and Sermon Prep; Book of Acts & Galatians; Service Exploring; Old Testament Exploration

Currently we have 23 students enrolled in two centers.

A number of our churches were also busy with baptisms of new believers. God has transformed the lives of 27 new believers who have received water baptism in the last three months.
WE ARE THANKFUL FOR:
1. We prayed, planned and asked God for ten new church plans for this last year. God blessed us with twelve. We are praying for more resources to help the additional church plants.
2. We prayed for and asked God for a more central Vision Thailand Mission Center (see picture below). God has provided us with a new center that should serve the Mission's needs for some years to come. As mentioned, the building is won't be fully completed by its dedication date in November, but it will be functional.
Need: Finances to furnish the dorms and some classrooms.

3. The Thai leaders were praying and asking God for 100 new baptisms this last year. God gave 115 new believers. Pray for their growth and maturity and acceptance in their families.

Mr.Amnat Rathananon has a passion for people who do not know Jesus. He is working with Vision Thailand leadership to establish a new church plant in Ban Pikun Thong, Muang District, Rathaburi. God has given him a spirit of boldness in proclaiming the gospel openly and clearly to people. He has started a Prayer and Bible Study group in his home initially with a goal to start a church when they have 30 believers. He is renovating an old warehouse for worship services. Please pray for this group.

PRAYER REQUESTS
  • Please pray for all of our pastor families. They are under many pressures working in predominantly non-Christian communities.
  • Pray that they are kept safe (physical and spiritual) and be bold in sharing the gospel.
  • Pray for continued open doors for the gospel to make its way across our country.
  • Pray that we keep our vision sharp and not deviate from it.
  • Pray for the 27 new baptized believers to stay strong in their faith as family and communal pressures are intense.
  • On behalf of everyone at Vision Thailand Ministries, THANK YOU for your partnership in sharing the Gospel!
