NEWSLETTER - SUMMER 2018
Greetings from Vision Thailand Ministries Chairman Daniel Khumsaen, his wife Jintana and children. Thank you very much for your prayers and financial support for Thailand churches.
BLESSING CHURCH - CHICHENGSAO, THAILAND : As I walked into this small storefront church, probably 20 x 30 feet in the Chichengsao Province in Thailand, curious children started to file in trying to see who their guest was. It was Saturday and it wasn't a Church Service. The Blessing Church, a new church plant in this impoverished neighborhood is not much of a church plant. It is being run by a couple who have dedicated to serve the abandoned children in the neighborhood. The Saturday Bible Club brings in about 30 children from age 5-15. It's an all day activity club where they learn life lessons, Bible lessons, eat nutritious meals - for free. On Sundays, they double the number of adults in this new church plant. $50 a week helps run this Bible Club, including the meals.

HOUSE OF PEACE CHURCH - KANCHANABURI, THAILAND: Another new church plant that has just started. Five families have moved to this area intentionally to reach out to the community. It's an open air church as you can see, right by the side of a busy road. The group has already grown to 40 people with some very good worship leaders. The pastor supports the church by working as a Massage Therapist, along with the support they receive from Vision Thailand Canada. Praying for a larger building! The pastor has taken sick suddenly and is not able to come to church, but the entire group is pitching in and ministering to the people.

HOUSE OF PRAYER CHURCH, RATCHABURI, THAILAND
Pastor Sayan is just completing his two year Church Planting Training Program provided by the Vision Thailand Ministries and supported financially as well. Sayan is a very good musician and he had already started a small music ministry in his village - FREE! The small 15 x 25 House of Prayer is open all day, seven days a week for anyone in the community to come and pray. There is some curiosity developing in the community for this ministry and of course, parents like to send their children for free music lessons.

  • A new church building in Phuket is being completed. The church planter is 77 years young, yes, you read that correctly, 77 years young, and he singlehandedly raised most of the funds to do the project. They are still $25,000 short of finishing the project and are praying for the resources. People are responding to the gospel. A neighbor who is a Shaman (a Witch doctor) gave his life to Jesus and is now a member of the church.
